Bad management. Nobody knows what to do from one day to the next, because things are always changing.

What I like

Training is amazing and the education department does their best to support employees. There is always someone that is willing to go above and beyond. Although, they are not respected enough

What I dislike

Constant changes. Making it very clear that money is the bottom line is no way to encourage employees to stay on and give their best when they know that dollar signs are all that matter

Suggestions for improvement

Get rid of all management and start new

What I like

The nurses are wonderful and hard working. There is some gems in the team and most of the direct care staff work well together

What I dislike

Management makes too many changes without thinking of the effects on the field staff. Field staff feel undervalued and put into positions that make it very difficult to have a well balanced work life. Problems are brought up to the highest level of management with promises for change and no changes occur.

Suggestions for improvement

Management needs to get a true glimpse at the work and sacrifices that nurses make, and realize they are real people, before making so many changes that effect them.

Supervisors work well with Nursing Team but they are undervalued

What I like

Supervisors are receptive and helpful and really care about the field staff

What I dislike

Upper management clocks out and forgets that the front line clinicians work into evenings, nights and weekends. They seem to have no concern for the field clinicians and make changes that impact lives of employees without blinking an eye. They also make you feel that you are not valued and replaceable

Suggestions for improvement

Stop changing management and take a closer look at the ones who work hard and still have empathy for others as leaders. There is too much bad mouthing from upper management about field clinicians that are over worked and over stressed and this is bringing company culture into the negatives

What I like

Love working here! Compensation is fantastic. Benefits are great as well. They provide proper training before you get out and hit the field so you feel confident in your job.

What I dislike

None at this time. I have not been able to find anything wrong at this time. Except wish they would pay for all the miles that you drive.

Suggestions for improvement

Pay for all miles driven instead of after 30 miles daily.

What I like

Residential is a place I am proud to work at.

What I dislike

Took away mileage bonus. Took away 24 hr bonus for timely documentation.

Suggestions for improvement

Offer company cars that is only used for work so employees don’t have to pay for one and does not matter then if mileage bonus is taken away

What I like

I love everyone for their efforts hit management doesnt always seem to understand the environment itself

What I dislike

Pay your employees moreand give them yearly raises, field AND office. Your iffice workers work justas hard

Suggestions for improvement

Better pay. For everyone. Clinicians may carry the load but office staff has A Lot to do, they deserve credit too. Wr dont want stupid outings, wr want money

Company Culture

I think they try very hard to do well as a company, to do right by clinicians, and do right by their employees, but they also have to meet the bottom line.

Work-Life Balance

A lot is self management, so you have to figure out what is best for you

Environmental Friendliness

They really di care about you. We are all human! You just have to be vocal

Challenging Work

It's is harder than you think to do home health, it's so much more intensive bit also so much more rewarding

This company works very hard to make you feel valued and appreciated, and the work is rewarding even if it can be hard

They really care about their employees and are willing to be flexible when you need it. Even the administrators care about everyone and will always listen to any questions or concerns

What I dislike

Sometimes they make changes without great explanation

Suggestions for improvement

Better pay for non clinical employees

Company Culture

They work really hard to keep their employees happy and engaged

Challenging Work

It changes day to day and can be challenging but rewarding

What I like

This is a company that cares about their employees and encourages and empowers them to be successful

I have worked for this company for 2 years. The work is enjoyable, however there is little work life balance.

EmployeeWorked at Residential Home Health, LLC in Troy, MI at the time of review.

What I like

I have the ability to make a difference in people's lives. I travel to patients as a home health nurse. Often the patients that I care for are fragile and in need of a nurse. The patients are often lonely and enjoy the visits by the nurse. I use my knowledge of nursing to educate the patients and provide healthcare to them.

What I dislike

I believe that the hours are too long. Productivity requirements are too high for the LPNs. Also, I am expected to take call more frequently. The work life balance at this company needs improvement.

Suggestions for improvement

There should be less meetings. Instead of having a half hour documentation education call every week, the information could be presented in written format for the employee the read and take the quizzes at their leisure.
