When I was employed with RRI, the majority of employees received monthly safety training and I believe they complied with OSHA regulations. The accident and insurnace claim record of the company improved significantly while employed at RRI.
Suggestions for improvement
- Management of the parent company needs to make it a two way street and commit to employees the way that employees are expected to commit to the company (and not look at employees as cash resources that may be cut at any time in order to raise capital for growth).
What I like about the company
Bagels and cream cheeses were provided at the main office location every Friday morning. Sodas and other refreshments were well stocked and always available for free to all employees.
What I dislike about the company
While there, management was chaotic. The company experienced employee turnover significantly higher than their industry. The year prior to hire, they were fined for unfair employment practices involving multiple employees (that was discovered after being hired). A small handful of executives were responsible for much of their turnover, terminating employees often for personal reasons and perceived personality differences.
