Support from management
Review of company before it was acquired by Microsoft: leadership was focused on business matters and let its relationship with employees languish. Hence, they lost several good people, creating a crisis situation. Attempting to do damage control by bringing in contractors to fill the gaps, the failed to create an onramp for the new employees to get up to speed and be successful.
What I like about the company
Interesting and important work, nice people for the most part, relaxed work environment
What I dislike about the company
Management did not know how to support new employees properly or plan for their training/onramp experience, leaving them to sink or swim while everyone else was busy trying to meet deadlines.
