Suggestions for improvement
- Keep employees in mind when making schedule changes on the fly. Management should plan the schedule better, further in advance. After all, the production workers are the people who make the product so the company can continue to make a profit. I assume they are, though one never knows at Rio.
What I like about the company
checks don't bounce. people I work with are cool for the most part.
What I dislike about the company
poor communication between management and employees. WE don't know how the financials are doing, what the plans are for our facility, or even what direction the company is heading. Management schedules the shifts and posts them, ever changing. so we make plans for days off and they tell us we have to work, even though it is not posted. sometimes with less than 24 hours notice.
