A person can run there toosh off, and the work is still not noticed unless you are friends with the higher ups.

The residents were wonderful, but office people did not listen to suggestions at meeting when we were the people working on the floor. So we knew where changes were needed. Also, in conflict situations if you kept to yourself and did your job if a situation/conflict occurred between coworkers your concerns wouldn't be heard, or if they did listen to what you had to say they would disregard what occurred. The person who more or less walked around talking to everyone would be heard, and no matter what the conflict was about you would be disiplined due to you are not well liked from higher ups and other staff, because you would rather work than talk to make sure coworkers and higher ups liked you. It was a very clicky place. They union people would not help a person in those conflicts like they are supposed to if that person representing you, or one of their work friends didn't like a person. A person was not liked if they reported others for inappropriate actions unless that person was well liked by coworkers, otherwise that person would be the target to try to get fired. Higher ups knew about the clicks and how the clicks did things like trying to get others fired, but never took action and were also friends with them.
