Need improvement on including everyone on information and workflow.
Support from management
Leadership does not allow thinking outside the box. Any deviance from management direction or suggestions with better approaches are incompatible with leadership. Also be aware there is nepotism, friends and family all working together and some people let go to make room for other "friends or family".
The culture is too competitive, everyone is worried about who's getting let go next, no one wants to be that guy/gal so everyone is very protective of knowledge and even middle management is afraid to supply good direction.

It takes many meetings to get anything done. Communication is good in that respect.

Older colleagues have been let go for various reasons.
They do offer career development. If you ask for it however, you will be turned down.

It's a good paycheck, better than the market value. It's another factor that keeps people from leaving.
Office / Work Environment
The work conditions are good if you are okay with the leadership issues. Most days you won't even see management or know where to find them. Usually they are barricaded in a meeting room somewhere.
Fair about work life balance to a point. Will call you out if you are taking too much time off, even if it is in the limits of written benefits from HR.
Employees talk fondly of company to management. Gripe, complain, and look forward to retirement in the backroom conversations.
No, the business is in considerable decline, all aspects of what's left of this dying product has been consolidated as customers move off to better options.
The work is interesting and challenging, its the reason many people stay there even if they are dissatisfied with some of the other aspects of the job.
