Suggestions for improvement
- Replace ineffective individuals in operations . They are destroying the business. Run the purchasing department with more checks and balances. Too many unorthodox procedures in place.
What I like about the company
Promote from within and offer jobs to those that need a second chance in life. Extensive opportunities for overtime which helps lower paid individuals to make a good living. When the company does well they offer a bonus to all workers. The benefits are decent.
What I dislike about the company
The operations team does not strive to make the company better. They tend to be takers, not givers and work in a silo of mutual inefficiency and dishonesty. It is very sad because they have been allowed to do this for years. Not a good work-life balance and a very strict attendance policy.
