Suggestions for improvement
- I would hire a dining room supervisor,and let the g.m. concentrate on paperwork and offfice duties. I would also spend money on the golf course. We had probably one of the nicest golf courses . , when it was taken care of properly. As the years went on the owners didnt want to put any money into the course. You have to spend money , to make money, instead of losing. 2/3 of our business.
What I like about the company
I worked there for seven years. It was my second favorite job ever. We were a small family therefore everyone respected each others as far as teamwork , taking time off and getting someone to pick up hours while someone has an emergency or is on vacation. The dining room was great , rarely ever a complaint. The pro shop was the problem. Our course which was in poor condition, pretty much put us out of business. most people were in great moods, seeing playing golf to them was, better than working,whether they played good or bad.
