The ownership does not support employees or management as well as talks down to managers and employees
Ownership doesn't believe that women have knowledge in this industry
company rewards longevity over production or actual benefit to the company
privately held company where ownership doesn't want to grow people who may "threaten them"
Medical is ok, pay is low but they expect more than what they want to pay (fair market value)
if you sit back, look busy, and don't say anything you can stay there as long as the company is there
no real safety program, company isn't willing to pay for steel toe boots for employees working in fall areas.
Ownership doesn't hold individuals to task so in order to meet production requirements, individuals must make up for others
I enjoyed some of the people I worked with. Many of the employees in my department were dedicated not only to the customer but to the industry as a whole. I learned a lot from them.
Ownership. Simply put the ownership doesn't value their employees nor does it respect them or their professional opinion or skills. Often non-certified (or "unqualified") ownership will tell employees [certified (and experienced) professionals (i.e. engineer, trainers, etc.)] that the employee doesn't know what they are talking about, or don't understand.
Ownership doesn't allow managers to act or employees to improve.
The ownership of the company doesn't value or trust their managers or employees. Often going against the advise of trained (degree and certified) professionals. Even when clear evidence supports the employee ownership refuses to acknowledge the employee
There is no communication or information transfer. Often people are simply ingorned.
Vacation time earned with seniority is good. New employees get zero (unless negotiated). At the end upper managers don't manage vacation of time off. Just request it. There is no negative effects for missing work
No one gets fired. Even for poor performance or costing the company money. As long as the doors are open you have a job. I have witnessed several employees make basic mistakes costs tend to hundreds of thousands of dollars with no effect
Safety program is laughable at best. I regularly addressed the lack of safety procedures or outdated policies and the effect they could have in the company. Ownership refused to address or acknowledged them. Ever after near incidents
There are no congratulations or recognize for work. To the point you are rewarded for being the status quo
They have a specialized market and with the right focus and leadership can "own" thief market. Huge potential
Ownership. Not holding employees or managers accountable , allowing sub standard products to be developed and sold or released. Not supporting customers and not caring about customers.
