Support from management
Leadership provided by un qualified management which had little desire to learn job
Very little team work since there was no team environment
No women in this field. Too physical type work
Attitude towards older colleagues
Three basic jobs Delivery, sales, service. Sales people placed above all. Service placed at the bottom of group , no one else able to perform service yet that group the least respected or appreciated.
Very tense work environment always being pushed and pushed with no help
Office / Work Environment
All work done off site in customers locations sometimes nasty, greasey, dark, extremely hot, loud, roach enfested restaurants
Work always comes first. Have to be there 10 years before a third week vacation is available. Always on call every holiday alternating weekends. 50-60 work week average . If you were sick all the work was waiting for you next day . Hard to catch up receiving 10- 15 service calls a day.
Not in service. The step children of the company. If you were in sales and getting trips to Cancun or Bahamas then you are very pleased.
When the company places the appreciation for your position at the very bottom there is no fear of loosing it.no one wants it very few can do it and the company never expands it . You just keep getting more work in the position . Too much job security
Don't have disabled in this field, Didn't provide equipment until my injury occurred as I was recovering
Missing safety equipment got hurt on the job
Suggestions for improvement
- Treat all divisions equally. Cross train more people so it can create more respectful the people doing a near impossible function,Do not make managers over any position if they can't demonstrate the abilities expected from their crew. Change the management style from always lieing. Always , Always Always and TEACH them to be a resource contact to expedite a smooth flow of work loads team work and enhanced feeling no one is at the bottom and not appreciated

Most managers lie to you as a normal operating procedure . No training on new equipment placed in the field. Not able to transfer to another location after working there for 8 years
