Family owned and community based membership. Good atmosphere.
Support from management
The Fitness Department Director is inexperienced and it shows. She does not do the best job running the department but she does care and listen.
The other personal trainers will work with you and help you if you need it but everybody does their own thing.
Freedom to work independently
The former Department head had a great system based off of seniority, skill and fit for the member. Now there is no structure.
A lot of communication with not a lot getting done.
Attitude towards older colleagues
Long-serving colleagues do not get the appreciation and support that was giving from the former director.
The company may pay half of a certification program if they see a benefit on their end marketing wise.
Overall compensation for your work
Under paid, no benefits at all.
You have complete free range with your hours. You can take off anytime you want just need to let your clients know. The only reason it's not 5 stars is because there is no paid time off.
What I like about the company
Freedom to train your clients and render your service as you see fit. Great for personal trainers just starting their career, not for experienced ones.
What I dislike about the company
No benefits or room for growth. No drive to improve the company/department.
