Suggestions for improvement
- Reinvest in new equipment (not 3rd hand surplus junk), institute an apprenticeship program, promote/hire qualified people to fill middle management positions, and return to the tried, tested. and true practice of firing terrible people.
What I like about the company
Decent pay, fairly relaxed environment, good communication from HR, low key management.
What I dislike about the company
Inhuman hours, mandatory OT, having to cover for weeks at a time for other people's absents, low moral, inability to plan family time due to unpredictable, unrealistic delivery agreements. There are people who haven't had a day off for months.
