Suggestions for improvement
- Make sure that budget is equitably distributed and used among departments and offices for culture/fun activities, work environments, and perks. Encourage or require more executive engagement across offices/regions. Just having department execs show up in an office outside of HQ can make a significant positive impact on engagement and perception for employees outside of HQ.
What I like about the company
My boss is awesome. I feel 100% supported by my manager and my team. If I need time off to handle a personal/family issue, medical reasons or vacation, I know I can take it. My team works together to solve challenging problems. I work remotely when I want or need to. I work in the office when I want or need to.
My company promotes social and volunteer activities. I have formed clubs, volunteered, organized fundraisers, hosted events, attended conferences, attended company outreach events using company time even though these activities have all been volunteer efforts outside of my job description.
My company does a great job of providing opportunities to learn and grow in my career from online learning to private industry leading workshops.
