What I like

Been so lucky to be part of this team since August 2017. Came from a larger company where focus of $$$ far exceeded the needs of the patient. This is so not the case here..management, nurses, support staff all have patients best interest at heart. Lucky to have a leader in John Crea..caring, bright, thoughtful, insightful and so much more. Great place to work..amazing to be part of a company that is growing and not losing sight of why we are in the home care business...patient care!!!

What I dislike

nothing

What I like

Some of the employees are really nice people

What I dislike

Unfair and unethical practices.

Suggestions for improvement

Pay for work done

Company Culture

If you want to work for free, this is the place because they don't pay for work done. Beware.

Support from management

Upper management provides none

Gender Equality

Male owned

Former EmployeeWorked for this company until 2016.

What I like

Diverse mix of patients

What I dislike

That dedicated employees were treated as disposable commodities after a hurdle or goal was obtained

Suggestions for improvement

Listen to the staff who have decades of hands on experience in healthcare. As a new fairly healthcare provider company, your employees are a wealth of knowledge and experience.

Company Culture

Unfortunately culture is undermined by horizontal hostility.

Company Image

More like embarrassed

Work-Life Balance

My children almost forgot who I was :(

Career Development

Not at the time I was employed there

Handicapped Accessibility

Bathrooms and hallways are not friendly for people with impaired mobility etc

Overall compensation for your work

Poor insurance coverage. No dental coverage available. Work 70 hours paid for 40

Inclusive / Diverse

Minimal gender diversity.

Environmental Friendliness

No.

Teamwork

As I said previously too much horizontal hostility. Lack of mutual regard among various disciplines.

Support from management

Unclear expectations. Unrealistic goals.

Challenging Work

Absolutely

Internal Communication

I received little to no orientation. Patient satisfaction results were regularly made available.

Gender Equality

I was told that I "complain a lot for a guy", by a female manager. So verbalizing concerns about the quality of patient care are viewed as complaints. Apparently sexism towards men is supposed to be tolerable?

Freedom to work independently

Lots of autonomy in most cases, with occasional micromanagement by certain "leadership".

What I like

Not much. The patients only that are not taken the best of care due to cuts in reembursment

What I dislike

Run by a snake. Owner often refered to being a used car salesmen. No is consistant. For the year I worked there nothing waa the same

Former EmployeeWorked for this company until 2016.

What I like

Somewhat flexiable hours

What I dislike

Felt like an outsider/was told to "keep your mouth shut" on more than 1 occasion.

Suggestions for improvement

Reward all employees that go beyond what is required. Take a look at employee overall and not to tell them they are doing a good job and then let them go. I did nothing unsafe. Paperwork was a week late and computer work a little more. But it wasnt looked at how many 10-12 hour days I worked. Was one of the only employees that could go into all pts home, pts requested me. Was never told i had a complaint against me. When let go employees and pts ( pts left me voicemail)called me and said I was a good worker and always offered help to coworkers and went out of my way to acomidate pts. I was never written up. Only warning i received i was getting let go was the nasty attitude and no help the last week. I felt like a lepore the last week i was there. I really felt like I was slapped in the face. ** This is my view of how i saw it and I am sure not everyone agrees"

Company Culture

Not good at present times

Company Image

Never was. Was forced to do things against my values

Work-Life Balance

Families are not taken into consideration . It is expected employees (that are not related to owner/friend of owner) are expected to drop everything and put company first. Sometimes working 12 hour days.

Career Development

none offered at this time unless needed by law.

Handicapped Accessibility

Wheelchair accessible but no handicap employees.

Overall compensation for your work

Salaries were recently cut. Responsibilities increased and not manageable.

Workplace Safety

Company office is safe. All Area's employee's go to are not safe. If employee doesnt feel safe they are instructed to leave and report to supervisor to evaluate if pt should be discharged or was it a one time situation.

Teamwork

Suppose to be teams, but employees are moved to other teams often

Attitude towards older colleagues

Majority of employees are under 40 years old (75%)

Support from management

No employee involvment

Office / Work Environment

Everything is newer since the company is only 2 years old

Job Security

Was praised for my work with a good evaluation and was let go 1 month later

Internal Communication

Exception is report daily but other than that very little communication

Gender Equality

Not many men/3 nurses and 2 owners/1 PT vs. 40 women (between nurses/ aides/ office staff)so hard to judge.

Freedom to work independently

Due to the volume of teammembers moved there is no bonding so employees are expected to work indepently

Environmental Friendliness
