What employees say

Employees like

I have enjoyed the people I work with and the patient interaction on a daily basis. My manager works hard to make good changes for our department like a new building, new gym equipment in our PT office and a shift in the pay rate categories so capped out employees can be compensated again. All departments work well together with laundry orders, supply orders, IT issues and maintenance issues. I enjoy the extra benefits of Christmas and birthday coupons for ...
Current job has been amazing. My manager always takes the time to really teach us better ways to do our job and it feels more like a community here.
I get to connect and care for elderly people and make professional friendshios with them.
allows me to provide input to drive my work, recognizes what i have to offer.
Management works really well to make sure we have the proper training we need

Employees don't like

all of the C-suite needs to be fired. They need to learn the definition of quality and integrity
They need to pay at least a fair wage compared to what others pay. The health insurance for families is way too expensive, many employees don't even have it because pay is so low, they qualify for food stamps and OHP. It would be great if we could get vacation time when requested. Why is it that veteran employees can take several weeks off a year and the rest of us don't even get 1 week off? Because the veteran ...
Budget cuts, they cut out the smaller departments that are very important. Instead of cutting from larger less necessary areas
Higher salary for the top positions so the company is in line with other companies in the same field.
Disapprove with the hours and having to work double shifts or getting called in on a day off. Very short staffed. Employees are not valued and managers don't care about personal situations. Must call in at least three hours before your shift or its a point or more against you and after 10 points you're fired.

Suggestions for improvement

fire the administration. Let doctors run the hospital
Get rid of the 10 points in one year policy and be more understanding of personal situations. Management could do more to motivate the employees and praise them for a job well done. Be flexible with the hours employees can work especially if they have young children and understand that children can get sick at school or day care and need to be picked up during a shift.
Nothing! Everything is okay. Extra staff would be great but hard to come by.
Better pay increase. More staff per shifts so staff doesn't feel overwhelmed
Better communication at the mid-management level.
