Pride in product
Employees seem to care about the company
Overall compensation for your work
Should be comparable to what other retail companies are beginning to offer.
People know the product and usually regard it highly. However, with prices rising many customers on fixed incomes are saying they cannot afford the shoes anymore. SAS needs to advertise more in the north US.
Many people do not know we are here. Sales need to be bigger and more often. It is better to keep the company alive than lose it because they do not offer enough incentives for customers to buy.
Lights bulbs etc. must be replaced by staff. Lights are high.
Suggestions for improvement
- Advertise more and offer better sales.
What I like about the company
Quality product for shoes. However the handbags are really not desirable. They do not carry the SAS name on them to encourage people to recognize the name and desire it. The handbags do not really compare to Kate Spade or Coach in style. At an outlet, I can get a Kate Spade for $89. Why should I pay so much for a SAS handbag that does not offer that much of a markdown? Look at the handbags that are really well known and their style. SAS has some nice ones but others look dowdy even for older ladies.
What I dislike about the company
They do not advertise enough.
