Inclusive / Diverse
I feel like in this day and age, we shouldn't focus on whether or not an employee has tattoos or a different hair color. We should be allowed to express ourselves and be who we are.
Suggestions for improvement
- I think we need better marketing. Not a lot of people know who we are. We have a very specific crowed of customers, and we need to branch out and try to grab younger folks attention. Not to mention that our specific store is very hidden and a lot of people don't even know we are here. I think we also need to be more diverse in what we allow the employees to do. It's almost 2020.
What I like about the company
I like that our main goal is the customers, no matter what. I love coming into work and seeing my amazing manager and my awesome customers! The hands on type of work I do makes my day go by fast.
What I dislike about the company
I think my biggest dislike as of right now is the lack of 'Freedom' that I have with this company. I have gone into banks, high end retail stores and have even seen people with government jobs that are allowed to be who they are and not cover up their tattoos as long as they are appropriate/ non-offensive. I've seen them not have to cover up their hair color. I think it's just a silly thing to focus on in this day and age and it makes it a little stressful working here. Other then that, I LOVE this company and I LOVE my job.
