Are you a Current or Former Employee? Former job since 2012
Suggestions for improvement
- Don't hire people you know you'll lay off in a downturn. SLB is gaining a reputation of 'irresponsible employer' in the industry.
I like about the employer
They put you in their system and you are expected to progress upwards in a finite period. They hire from within, so if you are motivated and professional, you will go far.
I dislike about the employer
Their employees are disposable because they are the most expensive items in the balance sheet. They will let you go in a heartbeat to meet the bottom line, despite how much work you've put in or number of overtime hours you've sacrificed. They are results oriented, which makes them a great company to invest in, but never to work for.
