makes claims its all about safty then works you 55-60 hours a week and makes you make up holidays because of profit.
Support from management
i loved my frontline manager most the people i met were nice people. most of the time there hands were tied though
when we could work together it went well. you were generally by yourself all day though
most changes are made and not done well or told we are gonna change something to only then have it pushed back months if not longer
Overall compensation for your work
pay is ok if you dont look at your hourly. once you break it down you really dont get compensated well for what you do
Office / Work Environment
not an office job
propane trucks and attempts to be eco friendly
if you do anything outside of work prepare to give it up hours are brutal and no one in managment seems to care.
this company is about 10 years behind on the digital side of things and still requires already overworked rsr's to go door to door to get new customers. its an old buisness model and if there was another company with the infrastructure to do it they could make it more efficient.
not a place for you if you cant run a route
preaches safty then works you til your bleary eyed. until that changes i wont believe in there safety culture.
Suggestions for improvement
- get with the times. you cant keep a company profitable when you stick to 1950s tactics.
What I like about the company
i love taking care of my customers you get invited in to peoples homes and get to know them on personal level. one of the few jobs ive had where i got to take care of my customers like family
What I dislike about the company
hours worked they need to drastically change how many hours there rsr's work. especially if they want people to stay the burn out factor happens quick.
