Support from management
Direct supervisor is knowledgeable and experienced. With over twenty years service to the company. He's been apart of the growth. But thats where it ends. Sconza management hasn't changed much with the times. It's still the old divide and conquer tactics. With occasional pettiness mixed in. 95% of the decision making process/final say so comes from the owner's son. Yawn.
For the most part yes. The company culture negatives I found were sabatoge as a way of protecting one's job. And occasional flair ups between rival operators. Management's response was to play favorites. An example of pettiness.
Freedom to work independently
It's a factory so were going
The usual open door policy. The atmosphere though was akin to a child complaining to one's parent. It was my experience that the quieter you were the happier management was. The communication is in spanish quite often berween employees on the floor.
This company's of women only went so far. After all the daily culture on the floor remained much the same as it was thirty years ago-very machismo.
Overall compensation for your work

Clean safe environment.
Not to my knowledge.
Safety training was pretty regular.
I'm always proud of the work my hands did. Anything by my hands and the company could trust I was giving it my best.
Inclusive / Diverse
Large latin population. From my two years there. Majority of employees hired thru the temp agency were latin.
