we were not acknowledged above our immediate supervisor.. even when we cancelled plans to cover for an employee who was sick or injured. not even to reimburse money paid for previous activities paid for. taking over for 8 weeks when other employee was unable to work. shift supervisor even stated they wouldn't cancel plans. DON complained when 3 months notice of retirement was given and no one was trained to replace us. supervisor does not return phone call. money owed for reimbursement for supplies NEVER paid because they lost receipt and copy of cancelled check.
nurse replacing nurses with 23-40 years experience had 5 weeks of specialty training when 3 months notice given and minimum recommended training was 3 months.
