Feedback - between staff, senior instructors, and field directors - is the bedrock of this company.
Support from management
Expect to be able to speak 1-on-1 with field directors about your professional development or your concerns from a week in the field.
You won't find a tighter-knit work community than the staff teams you live with in the field.
Freedom to work independently
Especially if you become a senior instructor, the freedom to structure a week is awesome.
We give feedback like crazy!
Accounts differ but, on the whole, wilderness therapy is a fairly gender-equal environment.
Attitude towards older colleagues
Older staff bring tons of wisdom and are respected for it.

You don't do this job for the money.
Working 8 days on and 6 days off isn't for everyone.
