Are you a Current or Former Employee? Former job since 2014
Position Management/executive staff
Suggestions for improvement
- 1) Hire, appoint and retain people who actually care about competence and professional reputation instead of just keeping their jobs at whatever the cost to their subordinates' livelihood. 2) Bring onboard people who really understand the concept of leading by example rather than simply doling out orders/commands. 3) Send your office stooges out into the field to work side-by-side with actual field people in order to understand their jobs and experiences; this was a function that used to occur under Securitas' Field Service Managers (FSMs) until the position was abolished by the company some 4+ years ago. 4) Find those willing to creatively think and problem-solve outside the rulesets. 5) Foster an environment where unconventional thinkers/leaders can thrive rather than be pigeonholed or stonewalled. Maybe then the company will attract, and retain, more than bottom-feeders just looking for a job, but top-notchers interested in investing in a career.
I like about the employer
It is the ground team - that is, individual team members at individual sites - that make the difference in attitude and morale with Securitas, not corporate leadership.
