Supervisors do try to commend employees.
Support from Management
Management does not set realistic targets. Management will "support" you in doing your work but the work load will always be too high making even the highest achieving of individuals feel incompetent.
The teamwork I experienced here from colleagues was fantastic.
Level of Autonomy
It's not that workload is unfairly distributed but that everyone is so overworked . . . furthermore, given the nature of claims, it is virtually impossible to structure one's own day or week as one has no idea what fires they will have to put out from day to day.
