I cant believe the culture exhibited in this area is the same throughout the country. People I have met else where were supportive and engaging.
Support from management
supervisor was self absorbed. independent thinking when issues became challenging will not happen
The majority of team members were very good. Although leadership found it advantageous to pit one against the other.

basically, you have little say in work structure
in some cases, most definitely career advancement is established.
Overall compensation for your work
salary is adequate and paid in a timely manner. Like most companies medical coverage is costly.

My biggest complaint was no consideration to family matters was expressed by management. NONE
I am not sure if image reflects reality. As I mentioned previously, I believe the companies mission is a good one from upper management. I don't believe local supervisory staff have that same mission in mind.
Never at any time during my tenure did I feel I had job security. This feeling was always reinforced by the supervisory staff.
Not an issue I really can address.
Training is provided
I was proud of my accomplishments and results indicated such. Although, there was never a sense of accomplishment.

The company promotes diversity globally, not locally.

- It would be in the best interest of all if everyone was on the same page.
What I like about the company
The overall mission statement from 7-Eleven corporate was great. Certain employees I interacted with regularly were a pleasure.
What I dislike about the company
Local management agendas did not coincide with corporate management. Very belittling approach to lower level employees.
