Suggestions for improvement
- Schedule more front of house positions. Even if someone's sole purpose for the shift is to clean tables and take customers' plates.
I like about the employer
Shane's provided me with an opportunity to be stretched and sharpened my interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills. On any given day, I was servicing a plethora of people and personality types.
I dislike about the employer
There is not much that I don't like. I'm unsatisfied with some unrealistic expectations. A lot of responsibility was given to two front of house employees and we had to spread ourselves thin in order to make meet expectations. These expectations were as follows: Take walk-in orders and phone orders at registers, walk food to customers, bus boy tables, keep restaurant as clean as possible, take customers plates to disposal, keep beverage counter stocked, and keep mini fridge stocked.
