Suggestions for improvement
- I would suggest treating all employees fairly, regardless of age.
The company's published culture makes it sound great - however, the middle management staff manages the plants poorly disregarding the corporate stance and the environment is cut-throat and stressful. There is a lack of fairness in how people are treated, a very evident lack of diversity within the leadership ranks and no trust in the organization regardless of whether you are support or manufacturing staff.
Management support depends on who you are at Shape. If you are part of the "inner circle group" you are fine and are supported. Again, they talk a good game but when it comes to standing by what they say regarding a "safe and trust" based environment they fall seriously short. No one - support or manufacturing - trusts the leadership - especially the plant and production managers.
