Treats people like numbers. Unless you know someone your ridden into the ground without any care. Constant bickering between departments that carries out into the hallways leaving people scared for their jobs.
Support from management
I have seen the operations director and quality director enter into a screaming disputed to which they both passed down to screw the other respective department.
Freedom to work independently
I will say they give you room to work. I think it is so they feel less responsible when thy toss you under the bus.
Literally told Friday afternoon as we are walking out the door that overtime this weekend is mandatory. They can’t communicate amongst themselves, they hold meeting to setup meetings and still no one shows up.
Overall compensation for your work
Generally it is runs on extremes. You are either very well paid for or extremely under compensated. Unfortunately it seems to depend on who you know and not your abilities.
Office / Work Environment
The production floor is clean with a constant temperature of 68 degrees. The con is there are no windows, so in the winter some days you don’t see the sun.
Literally saw the maintenance crew take the recycling bag and throw it in the regular trash. They have angered multiple waste companies by sneaking things they shouldn’t into the regular waste.
We had off for Memorial Day and Mother’s Day... You are treated like you kicked their dog if you can’t make it. Generally OT recruitment is reduced to threats and yelling.
Suggestions for improvement
- Gather an effective management team to evaluate your current talent and move on from there. Your upper/middle management especially in ALLENTOWN is a joke.
What I like about the company
I haven’t seen a layoff since I been here. With the nature of the business it’s impressive.
What I dislike about the company
Ineffective management, nepotism, and frankly mean people.
