Overall Compensation for your work

This in an area that needs work on the administrative level. We work hard too and our pay should reflect that.

Company Image

Yes, but we could use some help in promoting what's good about us.

Suggestions for improvement

What I like about the company

I have worked for the school system since 1999. I had 8 years of previous experience in another school system. I love SCS because there are numerous opportunities for growth and for training.

Support from Management

Limited support in the schools.

Teamwork

Principals work together to support one another.

Level of Autonomy

Decisions are made by district leadership (primarily non-educators do not have a clear understanding/vested interest in the community/children).

Communication

Terrible communication from senior leadership

Eco-consciousness

Low staff morale.

Suggestions for improvement

  • Leadership needs to focus on the children and not personal gain (lots of hiring of friends who have no knowledge of the education field). The current cabinet has little to no educators on the team.
