The culture is relaxed and the people are great.
Teammates work together well in communicating information they find out and collaboration. Everyone is helpful if you need help.
Freedom to work independently
For the most part you are expected to be responsible for your self, but there are a number of tools to do your job that you are not given and have to go to your team leader or manager to get them to do something for you.
Communication here is bad. Software updates will be released and the support team will find out what was included after trying to support it a week. Policies will change and employees won't find out until they get in trouble for doing it the hard way. All communication between you and another department in the company or a person in the same position at a different location, has to go through your team leader or manager.
There are not really any opportunities for andvancement or growth. They don't do training or pay tuition or anything.
Overall compensation for your work
You start out making a fair amount and feeling well-compensated but if you are good at your job they start to give you more and more responsibility until your job no longer resembles what you were hired for, without also increasing compensation.
Suggestions for improvement
- Value your people and pay them what they are worth.
- Communicate changes to employees and to customers.
What I like about the company
They benefits are pretty good. We get paid vacation days. All the people are good to work with.
What I dislike about the company
They increase responsibility and workload without increasing pay. My responsibility has tripled since I started but with only a cost of living increase each year.
