Suggestions for improvement
- HR does not address real issues effectively
Salaries are not quite the same as males.
Pay was fair, benefits were very good.
I was proud to work there for 33 years because of reputation.
Slashed thousands of jobs over the last 2 years and still ongoing.
Safety was a top priority, yet accidents still were occurring too often.
I enjoy pumping gas when it's sunny outside. That's about it.
I am constantly exhausted because my schedule is so random. I don't get enough hours, nor am I paid enough. I don't get lunch or breaks, often I can't even use the restroom when I need to. Employees are expected to get many things done throughout the shift, but we are always so short-handed that it is impossible. Customers are often left waiting because we are understaffed. The store is disgusting and there are safety hazards everywhere. Management and other employees often speak negatively about one another, and there isn't much confidentiality. If an employee gets in trouble, everyone knows up it. Employees are written up for drive-offs that aren't their fault. The store has a very poor setup. So many other things.
