Position Management/executive staff
This review is based solely on multiple locations within the Cleveland Market, other regions are known to be better on this line. In 4 years, there have been maybe a few dozen moments of positive reinforcement. The region is based on a "correct the issues first" approach to growth. While that helps, employees who put forth the effort but make mistakes are routinely looked down upon by management. What could be used as teachable moments for training and development are wasted on workplace politics and gossip. This routinely lowers the productivity of employees and increases store turnover.
Support from Management
Store level tends to work together well as a team. Sometimes goals and expectations vary by location causing an inconsistant culture between stores.
