Management within the store was going usually pretty good. Corporate it seemed cared more about the bottom line than they did their customers or employees.
Support from management
There was very little support from the home office. Promises were made to make things better however those things seldom happened. Promises of promotion was given then for no good reason broken. Therefore no trust is there.
The employees got along very well. We are still friends now.
Freedom to work independently
Management was fair in the distribution of labor. Some employees were obviously not as ambitious as others.
Mostly we were kept aware of what was going on in the store.
Office / Work Environment
The store was very much in needs of repairs. Corporate was very quick to criticize, but slow to provide the means to become what they wanted.
