I like about the employer
An open atmosphere meaning a relaxed working condition at most times. A freelance job within a company paid on a commission vs. draw basis.
I dislike about the employer
Commission vs. draw pay in a retail environment. When sales are good, pay can be good. When sales are bad (often) pay is minimum wage.
There is absolutely NO work-life balance. You just better be there... or else.
Some members of management are allowed to direct other workers income. Is this legal???. I don't know but it's not easy to take when you are the one taking the hit.
Hours are long ...time off minimal.
Schedules fluctuate... hard to plan for the little time off offered.
At best , I call this an entry to the workforce job....fast food comparable although income may be somewhat better AT TIMES.
Not much of a career opportunity available at The Shorr.
