Overall Compensation for your work

I worked there 15 years and never received a raise. Wages were competitive based on volume but that was taken away following changes to work load and new systems. We ended up with more responsibility and equal to less pay for the job we were doing.
We got paid time off, however, it became very restrictive over time. No more than five days off between 05/15 to 09/15. You can only take time you have earned (so no time off until February, absolutely cannot take time in January and full week isn't earned until April. You can only take time off at one holiday out of the three at the end of the year. Either thanksgiving, Christmas or New Years. So if you take the Friday after thanksgiving, you do not get to take any more time off. I had 20 days and when I left I had earned 6 that were not taken. I was not paid for my PTO even though I had given two weeks notice and sent back all equipment on time.

Suggestions for improvement

Rules often change without notice or reason. I.e. Vacation benefits changed drastically. Used to be a rule that only one week off /five days could be taken the months of July and August for summer coverage. Fair enough. It soon became one week in June, July and August. Then from 05/15 to 09/15 only one week. Wow. Also holiday vacations were limited. You could only have time off at one holiday (be it one day or five) thanksgiving, Christmas or New Years week. If you took the day after thanksgiving, you could not take time off the last two weeks of the year. You also can't take time off until earned, which means no week off early in the year January or February. Basically you can be off in April or October.....feels very unfair after its all said and done.


We are not allowed to talk to other employees. Work is home based.
