Overall Compensation for your work
I worked there 15 years and never received a raise. Wages were competitive based on volume but that was taken away following changes to work load and new systems. We ended up with more responsibility and equal to less pay for the job we were doing.
We got paid time off, however, it became very restrictive over time. No more than five days off between 05/15 to 09/15. You can only take time you have earned (so no time off until February, absolutely cannot take time in January and full week isn't earned until April. You can only take time off at one holiday out of the three at the end of the year. Either thanksgiving, Christmas or New Years. So if you take the Friday after thanksgiving, you do not get to take any more time off. I had 20 days and when I left I had earned 6 that were not taken. I was not paid for my PTO even though I had given two weeks notice and sent back all equipment on time.
Suggestions for improvement
- Make compensation and time off competitive/fair or based on seniority.
