Suggestions for improvement
- Stop treating employees like a disposable commodity; if I'm going to give my all for an employer, I think I deserve better than to be treated like something to be used up and thrown away. Also, the aforementioned comraderie didn't extend to management, which I found to be distant and aloof.
What I like about the company
At least among my coworkers, I thought there was good comraderie.
What I dislike about the company
When hiring, the company bargains in bad faith. After working as hard as I could to ensure that their obligations to their client were met and taking every shift that was offered, SMX "thanked" me by cutting my shifts to only two days a week and my salary by 10%. After that, I couldn't afford to live in San Diego anymore. I ended up quitting in disgust and left feeling like I'd been betrayed.
