They do not value their employees and do not provide training. Zero training in over three years.

Yes, you work alone, but not in a good way. Totally alone--no one has your back and if you make a mistake, you are reprimanded vocally in front of others.
Lack of plan and vision lead to little or mis-guided communication.
See comments above re: diversity. There isn't any. Minorities are NOT given a place or a voice in management.
Attitude towards older colleagues
During a recent layoff, in each category/job function, the oldest person and/or the person with the most experience was laid off.
Again, NO training provided for over three years. Only those individuals who are favorites or in the clique are rewarded/promoted.
Overall compensation for your work
Office / Work Environment
They did just redo the office; however, with very few walls and an open floorplan--it isn't for those easily distracted or anyone wanting to make a private phone call.
For a non-profit, they do not give back to the community in any way.
For the most part, employees work 8-5. During Annual Meeting, which is understood, it is all hands on deck and do whatever it takes.
Everyone who isn't in the "in" crowd wants out. The main clique is probably 10-12 people, so that means roughly 50 people want out.
Zero job security. Two large lay-offs in three years. First one was 11 people and last one was over 1/4 workforce or around 21 people.
Yes to OSHA standards. No to training. See comments above.
The work is challenging with a lot of deadlines; however, there is little to no room for new ideas and solutions. They live by the motto: we've always done it this way. Whether it works or not.

Suggestions for improvement
- More awareness from the Board regarding actual handling of company monies and treatment of employees. Pick a vision and stick to it. Communicate it.
