Improving culture - hopefully the days of annual layoffs are over.
Support from Management
Yes - clear goals in last 2 years. Employee involvement is limited - because of Sony being a Tokyo-based company, but leadership has tried hard in the last couple of years for employee involvement.
Level of Autonomy
Employees are expected to be self-starters and get up to speed quickly
Improving, but like the work-life balance, hard to shake the Japanese influence. Current president is working hard to break the glass ceiling.
