Suggestions for improvement
- Nothing I can think of at the moment
I work with an awesome group of people (especially my boss!) who all work toward a common goal to support our students and each other. We have 100% paid health care for ourselves and families. SPC treats its employees VERY WELL.
With new management it became much more micromanaged.
I worked for South Plains College for a number of years and for most of the time it very much felt like family. Working with and helping college students especially non-traditional students was very rewarding. I was able to see them make great progress towards improving their life situation
As people retired or left the culture at SPC began changing. It became micromanaged. It came to a point where people were not treated as professionals. There was a lack of appreciation for the work that was done.
