Clearly, this company doesn't believe that people are its greatest asset! Run by a Finance guy, whose turned it into a home for his cronies. You can't innovate with a lead who just looks at the numbers. If you have good ideas that aren't the same as managements, keep them to yourself. They have truly lost the spirit of "Edison", they should change their name and remove that name from its title. Sadly, or happily, depending on each persons perspective, if you're aligned with the top people and if you're the right "skin" color, you'll be kept even if you mess up good. For example, execs that made a mess of Nuclear plan testing, resulting in its shutdown got moved around to other parts of the company. Zero accountability at the top.
If you just want the money and good benefits, "shut-up, and put-up"!!!
Suggestions for improvement
- Get rid of the top layer and find folks with proven experience in advancing science and energy, not "bean-counters"
