My department became increasingly stressful and at times hostile as the company continued to dwindle down the number of employees who would stay on beyond reorganization. However, it really was apparent that management was attempting to alleviate discomfort during this time (both in their own interest for quality work performance and in the genuine interest of their employees)
Support from Management
My supervisor was incredible: allowed room for growth within my position, provided me with opportunities to learn new areas of responsibility, gave me access to special projects that gave me better visibility overall improving my value to upper management. I did not feel supported by upper middle management. I felt like a number producing cash flow.
