As a small company you receive virtually no home office support

  • Sell to a larger company that can provide IT, regional and district support, ethical treatment of employees, and an opportunity to grow and develop.

I like about the employer

My unit allowed for good working hours with weekends off.

I dislike about the employer

The benefits package was poor overall and pricey for what was available. Pay is below industry standard as the company is always attempting to do whatever is cheapest. As a manager, you receive little to no support from the home office, much less training. Bonuses are structured to be nearly impossible to receive more than 60-80% of what you are offered. IT department seems to be stuck in the 80's and since everything computer related is programmed in house the systems are archaic. The company is small and full of cronyism and there is no room for growth personally or professionally. Overall, the company is not a professional work environment.
