Too much nepotism.
Support from management
They do not set realistic targets and are very unclear and unrealistic in their decisions. They do not involve employees in their decision making-process.
Colleagues do not work well together because there is too much stress and pressure put on them. They are overworked and underpaid.
Freedom to work independently
The workload is not fairly distributed as I was one Risk/Safety Coordinator over 87 programs and there was no training given whatsoever.
There was never any communication and people are blamed for not knowing what to do. This company does not offer the proper training and when you are not able to do your job accordingly, management will pass blame on the employee.
I am a male and I didn't feel appreciated.
Attitude towards older colleagues
I did not see many senior workers and colleagues complained alot about not being appreciated. Their turnover rate is atrocious. I heard many complaints from 90% of all employees.
Overall compensation for your work
There was no compensation and the benefits were not worthy of having.
Office / Work Environment
Unsanitary, very risky and no sympathy for the employees whatsoever. At one point my working environment was in a room with no air conditioning in Phoenix, Arizona in the middle of the summer.
NO social awareness whatsover as I stated in my working conditions statement, I was made to work in a room with no air conditioning in Phoenix, Arizona.
There is no work-life balance in this company. I was a salaried employee so I was expected to work day and night.
Employees often complained about management, long working hours, nepotism with upper management, not enough pay and management being inconsiderate.
Not one person that I knew was secure there. The company would lose employees almost every week.
Yes, especially when I came in as their Risk/Safety Coordinator. I made sure that the company was in compliance with Osha rules and regulations.
Yes, I was their Risk Coordinator for 8 Regions and I implemented safety standards to ensure that they were in compliance.
The work was challenging because there is no professional development or training.
Inclusive / Diverse
NO they do not.
Suggestions for improvement
- Big changes in upper management and clearly put in more professional development for the employees.
What I dislike about the company
I disliked the nepotism. Especially because this is a federally funded program. The employees are made to feel like they don't matter and management is never sympathetic to peoples work life balance or needs.
