Support from management
Leadership only supports revenue generating employees & themselves
The culture is very much a "me & I" atmosphere. Teamwork is minimal.
Communication is terrible - too much talking & not enough listening
This company is male dominated & very much a boys club
Leaders base your performance on the # of hours you work, not the quality of your work
Morale is low even at the executive level
Decisions are made hastily & are very personally driven at times
Suggestions for improvement
- Improve communication at all levels of the company, but most importantly at the Senior Leader level. Show respect & learn to LISTEN to your employees. Establish a real mission statement & live & breathe it. Set goals (not just financial). Stop lining your own pockets when cash is tight & recognize dedicated employees that have really earned merit increases based on performance. Admit when you make a mistake instead of pointing fingers & placing blame. This could be an amazing company if the execs stopped micro-managing & took some real intensive leadership/ management classes. Just because you were a teacher or tennis professional does not mean you can run a company.
What I like about the company
Co-workers are great! Really wonderful group of talented individuals with dynamic personalities.
What I dislike about the company
The narcissistic culture of the Exec team that portrays a 'do as I say, not as I do' attitude. Lack of transparency is huge which causes lack of trust throughout the organization. Top level decisions are made based on feelings & if you are liked/ popular.
