Company Culture

For the most part, this was a positive work environment despite flaws within the company leadership. However, this soon fell apart once the company ceased paying employees. There was also a lack of ownership among the company's key-officers with several occasions of blaming other individuals/departments for short-comings.

Support from management

Management neglected to inform employees of current health of the company. This lead to first withholding of several months of back-pay and then massive lay-offs. Key executives were named in lawsuits following the lay-offs and several officers that remained with the company have falsely accused low-level employees of stealing resources from the organization without any proof or reasoning.

Freedom to work independently

Lack of direction and transparency from high-level management often left mid-level employees without proper direction or advisement on high-priority projects and business development manners. This often lead to confusion on multiple levels due to the lack of communication.

Overall compensation for your work

Company neglected to pay employees and cut health-insurance without notification.

Suggestions for improvement

  • Replace all C-Level/executive officers.

What I like about the company

A fun work environment with employees dedicated to building a company and growing it.

What I dislike about the company

The failure of the company's leadership. Failure to pay employees on time and the eventual mass lay-offs and lawsuits involving several individuals. Lack of transparency when company funding was in jeopardy. Upper management pressured departments to continue hiring individuals despite knowing that the organization's funding was not guaranteed.
