Administrators usually preselect people in specific areas without giving others a fair shot.
It would be nice to add professional advancement opportunities for teachers. An example would be an older teacher assisting the newbies and giving feedback on observations. A mentoring program but not the Resa. Teacher leaders.
Office / Work Environment
Administrators work slow to fix building. Moldy, damp rooms.
Administrators encourage family time and are good at allowing time off with our families.
No employees do not talk fondly of SLS. We need to feel more valued and trusted by administrators. The public does not realize how diverse and the number of low income students we have.

Suggestions for improvement
- Make teachers feel valued and trusted. Flex time, 4 day work days, salad bar for teachers, new/remodeled teacher work rooms, fix the humidity (Roof Leaks, Window Leaks)bring back field trips.

The teachers and relationships with them.

The feeling of us and them. Meaning administrators versus teachers. Not being valued and there is no empowerment. We need to empower teachers.
