No work / life balance. Plan on working every weekend. Management only cares about getting high dollar products out the the door. There is no care for scheduling so the customer gets there products on time, Meaning the customer is always last.
Support from management
Management does little to support. The support that they do give, is through you a couple of dollars. But when the machines or buildings need upgrades, they are very hesitant to put money in to that.
Co-Workers and supervisors are willing to help. Upper management will drive you into the ground
Freedom to work independently
You are watched like a hawk.
there is no master schedule that everyone can see. So you have no idea what you should work on next.
Office / Work Environment
Need updating. There is oil from the machines all over the floors and ceilings. Poor lighting.
the ground is contaminated.
Non-existent, especially at the end of the quarter. Plan on working all weekend and every holiday.
Old school mentality. If you mess up more then 3 times find another job. They will threaten your job almost daily. (that is there form of motivation)
They preach safety but will not spend the money to do it right. They would rather spend the money to have an on site physicians assistant then make the shop safe.
Suggestions for improvement
- Clean and update the shop. Make it more enjoyable for people to do their work effectively.
What I like about the company
What I dislike about the company
management beating employees into the ground without a care. Try taking some human factors courses.
