Suggestions for improvement
- Instead of offering Rgistered Nurses double their pay wage, to work the role of a Cerified Nurses Aide, when the staffing ratios come up short, this company should offer their existing Certified Nursing Aides, an incentive wage on top of their regular wage. By doing this, the company would save an enormous amount of money as well as helping their Certified Nurses Aides feel valued and respected in their role. The outcome would be higher overall morale as well as safer patient care scenarios because employees would be working in the roles that they were hired to do and are familiar with.
What I like about the company
I feel secure in my job here and plan to continue my career as an employee of this company. It has a lot of room for improvement, overall. But I feel valued and supported by my coworkers and my management team. The benefits cannot be beat and I enjoy what I do when I come to work. I feel like I make a difference in people's lives and that is worth a lot to me!
What I dislike about the company
I do not agree with the where the money is being spent. Corporate executives are making six figure icomes and funds are being used on things like unnecessary advertisements for our company when we have zero competition. These things are going on in spite of the well known fact that the company is in a financial deficit. Money is not being channelled directly into patient care staff or patient care environments, which results in a low morale and lack of trust between patient and care staff and in turn, hurts the overall reputation of the company itself.
