A lot of cliques, gossiping, backbiting, and lying. It’s pretty much like spending 8 hours a day to be back in high school.
Support from management
Management won’t lend any support, offer adequate training, or provide any necessary resources.
Coworkers will never share any of the responsibilities, will sit around complaining about anything and everything, and supervisors will tell you to take a problem to someone else who in turn will do the exact same thing.
Even with an employee handbook, rules, policies, and procedures are not clearly outlined. Consequences depend entirely upon who you’re friends with or related to.
There are no successive positions available. No where to move up.
Overall compensation for your work
Well below the market range, even for entry level. Raises are non-existent.
Office / Work Environment
Very poorly maintained building, much of the supplies are broken and barely functional, but will never be replaced with working items. The heating and cooling system within the building changes from one extrem to another barely 10 feet away from each other and makes miserable outdoor weather conditions intolerable indoors.
If you’re friendly with the right people then no matter how little work you do, there is no risk of termination. However, if you the wrong people don’t like you, then no matter how good your work is, there’s always a chance that you’ll be fired today.
What I like about the company
