The company is changing to for profit, going from not for profit has really changed the feel of this company.
Support from management
You are on your own for training as well as for finding out answers to employee policies. Not a lot of guidance
There is a lot of responsibility passing, hard to fix a training issue when there is no identifying the problem
Freedom to work independently
Very independent work. Own schedule setting for the most part, very nice
Company wide little to no communication between departments. Especially from management they may also just not receive communication from above but everyone tells you something different
No men in office, but there are no career opportunities to grow there
Attitude towards older colleagues
Older the better!
No development at all.
Overall compensation for your work
You are not compensated for work, just time with company. No raises based on work done. Everyone starts same and gets same % raise every year
Office / Work Environment
Very quiet, services to get equipment is fast and efficient
Hours are often cut and over time is frowned upon.
Threat to be outsourced daily. Especially with unknown company buying the hospital
Work can be challenging when you don't have training
Inclusive / Diverse
No diversity, office full of elderly white women. Who are hired because they are friends or former employees, not based on skill they can bring to the table
